The Archway Painting is an item in Psychonauts. It is one of the magical paintings sold by the Dog Painters in Black Velvetopia.
Gameplay[]
The painting serves to introduce Raz to the concept of Black Velvetopia's magical paintings. When he first enters the street area of Black Velvetopia, he's flung by El Odio through an archway into a corridor where the Saint Bernard Dog Painter is found, causing the archway to revert back into painting form and fall to the ground.
Raz may then purchase the painting for free (the painter marks down the price as the fall caused a nick to form in the frame) and use it to reopen up the rest of the area.
