The atom splicer is a special machine located on the fake UFO in Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin. Along with the UFO, it was developed by the federal government. It was likely placed inside the fake UFO to make it appear more authentic. It can be used to create one new object out of two separate ones. The new created object can also be split back into its two original objects.
