Audie O is one of the five senses that Raz meets in PSI King's Sensorium. He represents Helmut's sense of hearing as well as his husband, Bob Zanotto. He wears a blue color scheme.
Appearance[]
Audie O has a large ear for a head with two black dots for eyes. He does not have a mouth, but can talk. He wears a blue color scheme.
Personality[]
He's the drummer of the band, and seems to mirror Bob Zanotto in personality, but more attuned to being a band member and a mental figure. He believes that without the PSI King, there's no point in performing the Feast, and he also seems doubtful of himself when he learns that PSI King has returned, and that they can perform. Though, he also appears to retain some humour, when he calls Helmut's attempt to save his life "dramatic" in a clearly light-hearted way.
Story[]
After PSI King "left the band" (lost all ability to process sensory input), Audie went off on his own, much like the rest of the band. When the events of PSI King's Sensorium take place, he is with Dr. Touch at the top of the campground's mountain. He seems to have lost some confidence that would be otherwise very present, saying that he and Dr. Touch are not ready when they are confronted with the opportunity to play in the Feast of the Senses again. His mood changes a little after retrieving his instrument and getting to play on stage along the rest of the band, PSI King included.
In the dark void, Audie O corrects Helmut in one of his beliefs of the happened events with Grulovia. Helmut said that his Bobby got drowned by that monster but Audie says that in reality Helmut sacrificed himself to save "Audie O's" life. After defeating the shadowy figure, (Nightmare Maligula) Audie O hugs Helmut as a way of affection.
Etymology[]
"Audie O" is a homophone for "audio".
PSI Powers[]
Audie O presumably has all the powers Bob Zanotto does, however he is shown only using a few inside Helmut's Mind:
- Time Bubble: Used to slow down the Maligula memory.
