–Evil Augustus
Evil Augustus was the manifestation of Raz's fear towards his father. He was born out of Raz's negative perception of his father Augustus Aquato: turning him into an abusive parent figure with a big hatred towards Psychics as a whole. He’s the second last boss fight of Psychonauts in the Meat Circus. He was defeated by Raz after fusing with The Butcher by becoming the Two-Headed Dad Monster.
Appearance[]
His appearance is similar to Augustus', being fairly lanky with bags under his eyes. But, due to being a manifestation of Raz's negative perception of his father, however, he has a more sinister and hostile demeanor, and in addition to that, his appearance presents a more grotesque look than his real-life counterpart: his skin is a bright shade of green, covered in cuts and lesions (more notoriously in his mouth which presents a big scratch in zigzag patterns), and his hair is bright orange with green streaks. His eyes are yellow with bright orange irises. His clothing is colored similarly to the rest of his body, his safety pins are now completely reddish and has several skull motifs.
For the most part and similarly to the case of the Butcher; both showcases a zombified appearance in general. Lastly his juggling clubs presents two red lines but with most evident detail of presenting multiple spikes attached to them, which said clubs he can set them on fire by will.
Story[]
Psychonauts[]
Evil Augustus appears in Meat Circus, the final level of Psychonauts. After Razputin and Coach Oleander's minds are fused together, it creates a hellish mental world that combines Raz's memories of his Circus and the Coach's memories of his father's butcher shop.
Raz must protect Young Oleander from the attacking Bunny Demons. After helping Lil Oly in the first tent and passing through some rails he reaches a bigger tent where he must fight Oleander's father, The Butcher. After defeating him, using one of his cleavers throws Raz out of his tent along with a wrapped package. Once reaching another tent, from said package Evil Augustus emerges and proceeds to flood the Circus and attack his son. He berates and demeans Raz, and accuses him of cheating once Raz has beaten the level.
Evil Augustus then works with The Butcher to kill Raz. After beating the butcher a second time and throwing him into the meat grinder, Raz's real father Augustus appears, asking him what has happened to his brain. After seeing his evil counterpart, Augustus questions why Raz sees him this way, as not only does he not hate psychics, but he used psychic powers to rescue his son. Augustus then PSI Blasts Evil Augustus in the meat grinder with the butcher, creating The Two-Headed Dad Monster. Augustus then gives Raz's powers a psychic boost, allowing him to defeat the monster.

Evil Augustus briefly appears in the Psychonauts recap animation in Psychonauts 2.
Strategy[]

While he doesn’t have a direct fight towards Razputin, he challenges him via an obstacle course which has the purpose of putting in training his acrobatic skills. However not everything is that easy since he 'High dive pool' in the center of the room starts to flood the entire circus more and more, putting Raz into a time limit to reach the upper are where his father is before the entire tent floods. This obstacle course presents multiple challenges like the many uses of swinging on poles and ropes as well as walking through the past mentioned, climbing on floating fences with fire, using levitation in order to float on top of pipe organs that spreads bubbles with meat inside, doing trapeze at the right moment to avoid getting chop by spinning cleavers and finally descending and climbing at the same time through a giant ladder that leads to the last platform where Evil Augustus waits his son.
The best way to cheese this entire course is by using Invisibility and Levitation. Invisibility to avoid being attack by Augustus in the rope parts as well as the last segment in the organ and before reaching the ladder. Levitation helps a lot in case you want to reach and skip entire parts by PSI-Floating like the part where you have to climb through three ropes in a row or the fences part or even skip the part with the spinning cleavers.
Attacks and Health[]
- Flaming Clubs: When walking on top of the ropes, he tends to throw one of his fiery clubs in lapses of 2 seconds. These can vary depending in what segments Raz is in; from throwing them from above or following the direction of the ropes itself. These clubs are not thrown while Raz is invisible. During the second round with the Butcher, Augustus will remain in a top area of the tent throwing his flaming clubs from above which their damage can vary.
- 2 hit points (in the obstacle course and for the Mental Health).
- 7 hit points (direct damage by landing and deals 1 brain with an extra 'three quarters' second brain).
- 4 hits points (impact damage or if trying to Punch them, which deals 1 whole brain).
- 5 hit points (by touching the clubs directly 1 brain with one bit).
- Power Jump: Through the entirety of the obstacle course, Augustus can be seen doing very big jumps to reach specific areas the point that it can overpass the height of an hypothetical double jump with Levitation.
- Pyrokinesis: Similar to the real Augustus, this one can use Pyrokinesis. However for this evil version he uses it to set on fire his juggling clubs, perhaps some of the obstacles like some of the fire rings in the pipe organs and the giant cleavers of the Butcher.
Note: Since Evil Augustus cannot be damage there is not an specific amount of hits to defeat him.

Trivia[]
- The version of him that exists in Raz's mind seems to "dislike the changes" to the circus, and tries to kill him, but after he becomes the Two-Headed Dad Monster, he says he likes Raz and Oleanders' mind like that, probably because of his recent fusion and the fact that he has a direct way of hurting Razputin in this world.
- Entering a cheat code in Psychonauts causes an audio file of Evil Augustus saying "You cheated!" to play.
- Using Clairvoyance on Evil Augustus shows he views Raz as a smaller version of himself.
- Using levitation, it is possible to get ahead of Evil Augustus during his obstacle course in the Meat Circus. This can cause the water to rise above Evil Augustus' level, although he is not affected if he gets submerged in water.
