–Raz, inside of Otto's shop.
The Otto-Matic Workshop, or Otto Laboratory, is the workshop of Otto Mentallis. It is located just outside the Motherlobe.

When Raz is able to access the workshop, he can talk to Otto and get two items, The Thought Tuner and the Otto-Shot Camera, under the pretense that he is delivering them to Sasha and Milla.
The Thought Tuner allows Raz to find stray thoughts in the overworld, similar to finding Arrowheads with the Dowsing Rod in the first game. These stray thoughts can be accessed using Mental Connection and allows Raz to access new places that were until then unreachable. It is unusable inside of mental worlds.
The Otto-Shot Camera, on the other hand, allows Raz to take pictures in both the real and mental worlds. Filters for the camera can be bought from the Otto-Matic for Psitanium.
Trivia[]
- A brain storage container is accessible in the workshop. While it is required to take a brain from Unprocessed Minds to progress, there is also a Hall of Brains that can be looked at. If it is selected, you can see a lot of different brains, presumably from backers of the original crowdfunding campaign.
- This brain storage tank is also the location of the title screen for Psychonauts 2.
