PSI-Cougars are a type of animal found only at night around Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp. They are cougars that have been mutated by the massive Psitanium deposits under the camp, granting them Pyrokinesis. They are dangerous animals that can cook their prey (namely Raz) from quite far away.

Strategy[]
The most effective defense against PSI-Cougars is invisibility, which prevents them from attacking Raz and affords an opportunity to sneak up and punch them, or simply walk on by. Alternatively, if Raz stands in shallow water he cannot be set alight.
Psychonauts 2[]
A wooden animatronic of a PSI-Cougar appears in Fatherland Follies from Gristol Malik's memories of vising the camp. However, this cougar cannot set Raz on fire.
