–Drone
A PSI Detector, or Anti-Psychic Detector, is, as the name implies, a mechanical device that detects psychic activity, used for security reasons. The only currently known types of PSI Detector are Anti-PSI drones, security drones used to defend against psychic cheating at the Lady Luctopus Casino, where they are typically employed alongside inhibitors that disrupt psychic abilities using Psilirium[1]. Some especially skilled psychics, like second head of the Psychonauts Hollis Forsythe, are able to hide their abilities and evade detection, however.
Description[]
The drones look like a regular security camera with a rotor blade on top and an eyeball-like lens with a pupil. They also come equipped with a searchlight, but these drones only scan people who stand in the beam of their searchlight, which is their most notable weakness. When they detect psychic activity, they sound an alarm and speak to alert their surroundings of the psychic intrusion. Similar drones also appear in Otto's workshop, an already heavily reinforced building, for even more additional security.
