“Pins allow you to add custom tweaks to your PSI Powers! You can mix n' match them to suit your style of play, and as you rank up, you'll gain access to more powerful ones! Why don't you try one out on the house? Pick one of those three levitation pins...”
Pins are items that Raz can obtain at any Otto-matic shop. Some pins will give Raz various power buffs, while others are purely cosmetic. Raz can equip up to three of them at a time by accessing his journal. They were first brought up in one of the Basic Braining episodes.[1] Pins are not necesary to complete the main story of Psychonauts 2.

Trivia[]
- While in the first game Raz would do the "Bobby Zilch" dance whenever he was idling in certain locations, as well as after beating the luchadores, now he needs a specific pin to do that.
- The "Mental Magnet" pin is a carryover of the badge of the same name from the first game.
- Pins received criticism from critics due to the game only allowing the player wear three pins at once.
- Combining all three levitation ball color pins will make the levitation ball white.
