Time Bubble is the psychic ability to control time.
Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin[]
Crackers appears to have the ability to slow down time with assistance from First Mate Loboto. With Raz's help, they successfully use it to defeat Monstroboto by creating a time bubble to impair his movements, allowing Raz to fire at him using Marksmanship.
Psychonauts 2[]
In Psychonauts 2, Razputin is able to use Time Bubble to slow down (or speed up) moving platforms as well as bosses and enemies. Razputin learns this ability somewhere in PSI King's Sensorium. Slowing down an object also makes it lose all its colour.
Upgrades[]
- Base Power - Manipulate time to slow-moving objects and enemies.
- Quick Time - Decrease cooldowns between Time Bubbles.
- Time Zone - Time Bubble affects a large area rather than a single target.
- Overstay - Increases Time Bubble duration.
Pins[]
- Time Warp - Speeds up objects and enemies rather than slowing them!
- Bubble Wrap - Inflates your Time Bubble to slow a much bigger area!
- Big Time - Squeezes some more time out of your Time Bubbles!
Uses[]
- Time Bubble is useful for puzzles and platforming. It can make platforms easier to jump on and slow enemies down.
- Equipping the Time Warp pin will cause Time Bubble to speed things up, which only serves as a hindrance in all but a couple of situations.
Strategies[]
- Time bubble can be used to slow down a large enemy from far away, and then mental connection can be used to quickly pull Raz toward that enemy. Once close, he can use Psi Punch to deal massive damage.
