Description[]
Zoolepathy allows a psychic to use Telepathy to communicate with animals.
Story[]
Background[]
Compton Boole was brought into the Psychic Six after seeing his preternatural skill to communicate with animals. He worked with Cassie O'Pia, teaching her to communicate with the bees she took care of. Compton used this mental skill to summon a stampede of Grulovian wildlife to attack Maligula during the Battle of Grulovia.
Psychonauts[]
When Raz comes to Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp, he meets Compton's grandson, Dogen. Dogen, who has difficulty not making heads explode, is being tormented by a crowd of squirrels who keep telling him "the tiny man will kill every one". He believes the squirrels to be talking about himself, and in his anger he blows them up.
Psychonauts 2[]
Finally coming to the Motherlobe as a Psychonaut intern, Raz meets Dogen's older sister, Sam. Sam uses her zoolepathy to communicate with - and control - the animals of the Questionable Area.
Later on, Raz meets Compton himself, who has lost the ability to filter out psychic communication from both humans and animals alike and thus committed himself to Psychoisolation. With Raz's help, he comes to control the noise in his mind, mastering his zoolingualism once more.
